Bob Angell Rhode Island
Guitarist Bob Angell started Blues Outlet, the first electric blues band in his native Rhode Island, in '66 having been
heavily influenced by the Chuck Berry and Jimmy Reed records that he heard on local radio.
As Angell’s longtime mentor, the fabled Hubert Sumlin said, “He really is one of the best.” so it was no surprise when he was inducted into The Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame in 2015.
